The Dambusters Pleasure Flight
About This Experience...
You will depart from Sherburn In Elmet aerodrome for an exclusive flight for up to three or four people lasting 75 minutes. You will retrace the path of the famous 617 Dambusters Squadron used by them during World War Two to practice flying at low levels over the dams in preparation for the raids.
Flying at around 1500 feet, your helicopter will overfly Ladybower Dam, Howden Dam and the majestic Derwent Dam with the twin towers that were used to replicate the German targets with the famous bomb aimer’s sight.
